Inu Design is a leading interior design practice. With a cross-continental client list and a global aesthetic, we are at the fore-front of creating exceptional design concepts. Inu Design was set up in June 2003 in London, England.
It fully re-located it's primary business to Lagos, Nigeria in May 2007. Inu Global Concepts Design is a registered company in Nigeria.
OUR AIMS
Our aim is to offer a superior and innovative interior design service to both residential and commercial end-users. We know that design can help articulate a brand....not just a commercial brand but an individual one (an image) and create emotional resonance.
WHY CHOOSE US
Our differential is that we offer a bespoke service to EVERY customer. "Inu" means inside/interior in the Yoruba language: it also means the mind or spirit of a person....their inside/thoughts, which is what defines them. Consequently, as a company, our approach is a holistic one which seeks to translate the inside of the person or company (ie what they stand for) into what can be seen in terms of their interior and space.
OUR APPROACH
We recognise that fundamentally, interior design shapes the behavior of people so it’s important to get to know and understand the people, how they live/work, their life structures/style and how they go through space. We do custom design, not mass design…
“Inu” means the inside (interior)/mind/spirit of a being so our ethos is to take a holistic approach to designing spaces that reflect, respect and represent the preferences and character of the end user/client. We make inspired and informed decisions to provide bespoke interiors that are woven from the very fibre of the user’s personality and priorities.
We are inspired by character…be it the character of a person, place or item…everyone and everything has a story to tell…This goes beyond an aesthetic but speaks to and of the soul of a person, a thing, an activity or a venture, a dream or desire…it is what delivers the fabric from which the subject/object has truly been woven. We believe the space is about the client…not the designer which is why our style is fluid, in order to enable and not hinder their own expression…
We temper innovative techniques with practical applications; begin with function and fuse it with style thereby using design as a force for good in society rather than just a force for “good looking”. As our policy is not to be tied to any particular supplier/manufacturer, this frees us up to be organic, objective and totally creative in our individual approach to every project.
